Can you do both hair and makeup on my wedding day?
Although Jay is highly skilled in both hair and makeup, due to time restrictions on the day, hair services provided by Jay that also require makeup services is limited to a maximum of 3 people for both hair and makeup combined. If you require hair services for 4 or more people Jay is happy to provide you with a list of independent Hairstylists you can contact. If you would like to coincide both your trials at one appointment she will welcome your Hairstylist to perform your trial her home studio FREE of charge. Jay is also available for hair only or makeup only appointments. During peak bridal season a requirement of 4 or more people required having either hair or makeup.
Can you travel to me?
For Weddings...Yes Jay is totally equipped to travel to you. Depending on your location a small travel fee will apply for areas outside of the Illawarra (please ask for quote) Jay services the Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands and Southern Sydney.
For Special Occasions...Jay is only available for appointments in her home studio in Albion Park
For Formals... Sorry due to heavy work commitments Jay is unavailable for formals
How much do i need as a deposit how do i pay the balance for the day?
Weddings...A non refundable deposit or $200 is required to secure your date. Your date is left open until this payment is submitted. Due to high demand tentative appointments are not available and trial bookings does not secure the date. This can be made payable via bank transfer or in person at your trial.
Special Occasions... A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. Due to high demand, tentative appointments are not available and appointment bookings without a deposit does not secure the date. This can be made payable via bank transfer.
When and How do i pay the balance?
The remained of the balance can be paid in person on the day in cash (Eftpos facilities incur a 3% surcharge. Any bank transfers must appear in my account at the time of the appointment.
Do I need a trial?
Weddings... Trials are strongly recommended so we can envisage your total look as well as saving precious time on the day. Trials also gives the reassurance that you look like the princess you pictured in your fairy tale. Due to high demand trial bookings does not secure your date without a deposit submission. It is highly advised that you book your trial and submit your deposit at your earliest convenience to avoid deposit.

How soon do i need to book my trial?
Jay is getting booking 12 months in advance. To avoid disappointment is is recommended that you do not delay in booking for your trial and submitting your deposit.
Where is your studio located?
Jays home studio is locate in Albion Park approx 20 min South of Wollongong and 60 min South of Sydney
Do you charge a early start fee or travel fee?
An small early start fee applies to wedding that start time earlier than 7 am. Any weddings located outside of the Illawarra region will incur a small travel fee.
What products do you use?
Jay only uses professional products and equipment including the sought after airbrush makeup which includes MAC, Graftobian, Elementwo, Too Faced Cosmetics, NARS, Napoleon Perdis, GHD, KMS Haircare, White Sands Haircare,Schwarzkopf ... just to name a few. Jay spends a lot of time sourcing only the best products that will perform to the highest level ensuring your look will last all day right into the night.
What is airbrush makeup?
.Airbrush makeup is a new age product and an alternative to traditional makeup. It is requested by 99% of bookings due to its high definition and flawless finish. It is applied by an air gun and compressor which lightly sprays over your skin without caking yet covering any blemish or uneven skin tone and photographs flawlessly, many clients are quotes as saying "I don't feel like i have got anything on, yet my skin looks so flawless". It is silicon based which ensures longevity. It will last throughout tears, rain and sweat. It really does have to been seen to be believed :)
Do i need to fill out the details form, cant i just ring or email?
It is important that Jay has all your information for her filing system. She can be dealing with several brides at one given time so to ensure that there is no mix communication she asks that any conversing is done via email with the initial contact done via the details form which can be found under the "contacts" tab.
How do i prepare for my appointment?
Jay has complied a checklist to assist you in preparation for your trial, wedding day or special occasion . Please print this out the help your day run smoothly.All appointments other than wedding day is performed in her home studio located in Albion Park approx 20 minutes south of Wollongong.
